The ALS Association and American Brain Foundation, in collaboration with the American Academy of Neurology, support two awards each year to help encourage promising young scientists to pursue ALS clinical studies and foster their professional development. These highly regarded awards attract researchers of the highest caliber who are conducting research to develop treatments or enhance the diagnosis of ALS. Not only do these awards support innovative research, but they also provide a bridge to NIH and other funding.
