I enlisted into the Army Military Police Corps on 1 April 1987 and retired 31 Jan 2008. Upon my retirement I continued my service in the Army as a civilian until Jan 2022 (34 years).  I first started noticing my symptoms within a week of getting my first COVID shot. At that time I thought it was a side effect. 15 mounts later in May 2022, I was formally diagnosed with bulbar ASL.  As a Soldier I never failed a mission and now God has me on a new mission to tell my story and teach others about ALS any way I can. I am blessed to have my wife Laura on my side to support me.
