The Legacy Society
The Legacy Society was created to recognize those special individuals who have included The ALS Association in their long-term plans through a bequest or living trust, life-income gift, beneficiary designation, or other financial planning arrangement.
Among the most valued supporters of The ALS Association, members of The Legacy Society have determined that their legacy will be one of hope - hope that treatments and a cure for ALS will be found and that those living with ALS will be inspired to continue to fight this disease with awe-inspiring tenacity, courage and optimism.
- There are no membership fees.
- The size of your gift doesn't matter. Be assured that your gift can remain confidential and will be used responsibly.
- In celebration of your commitment, we will recognize your gift in our annual report, on our website, and in other publications. It’s a wonderful way to publicly honor or memorialize a loved one.
Your willingness to be listed as a member of The Legacy Society not only encourages others to follow your example, but inspires other donors, researchers and individuals with ALS and their families, knowing that funding for The ALS Association's fight to eradicate ALS will continue.
That's why we encourage you to let us know if you have included us in your estate or financial plan. If we are in your plans we would like to say "thank you" and welcome you as the newest member of The Legacy Society. To notify us of your legacy intention, simply complete our online The Legacy Society Notification Form.
If you have not yet included us in your estate or financial plans and would like to learn more about any of the many ways you can leave a legacy of hope, we have staff located across the country that would be happy to speak with you. They can describe opportunities for you to make a gift that will assist you in achieving your financial and philanthropic objectives. Simply call, write or e-mail us.
