I proudly served in the US Army from 1983-1986. Upon discharge, I got married and became a father. Fast forward 32 years and I am now a grandfather and divorced. I was exhibiting the symptoms of limb onset of ALS for the past 3 years. I was diagnosed after a multitude of tests like most of us with ALS. My diagnosis was in October 2017. I am not able to maneuver with out the use of a wheeled walker(inside) and a wheelchair outside. I am fighting this disease valiantly like all of us.
