My husband served from 1966 - 1968 during Vietnam and then returned to service from 1974 - 1991 when he retired out of Saudi. He was diagnosed with ALS Nov. 22, 2011 he has lost the ability to swallow, move both arms and his legs are becoming weaker. When he was diagnosed he was given 6 months-1 year, we are going on our third year. John is a fighter always has been and always will be. We have five children, 14 grandchildren who all dote on their Papa.
