My father served in the United States Navy from 1945 to 1951 during WWII and the Korean War. He was diagnosed with ALS in 2006 and passed away on December 31, 2006. He was a devoted husband and father of three. He had ten grandchildren that he adored and his family meant the world to him. Nothing made him more happy than having his family all together. He fought a courageous battle against ALS until the end. He is greatly missed!
