2021 Resource Groups Update
Last year brought many changes to the way we provide resource groups. Although we all wish we could be back to our in person meetings, it isn't in the cards just yet. In order to continue supporting the ALS community safely, we will offer all group meetings on Zoom. The group calendar looks a little different this year, but we hope the changes will provide you with more opportunities to connect with other families impacted by ALS.
Changes include, inviting all persons livings with ALS and their loved ones to all Resource and Education meetings, regardless of your location. We hope this will allow you to meet and chat with a larger group who might not live locally to you, but might have more in common with you. In response to comments and answers received in the recent survey, we will continue to offer special topics with guest speakers but will also provide time for open discussion and more informal conversation between group participants. We really appreciate your input on these changes and hope they help to support you and your family while you live (and work) with ALS.
