The Hoffman ALS Clinic Development Awards Program
Description: The goal of the Hoffman ALS Clinic Development Awards Program is to provide greater access to multidisciplinary care by supporting clinic capacity development and expansion through:
- The establishment of new ALS Certified Treatment Centers of Excellence and Recognized Treatment Centers to address underserved and unserved communities, or
- The elevation of existing affiliated clinics to the level of an ALS Association Certified Treatment Center of Excellence or Recognized Treatment Center
Funding: To establish a new ALS Certified Treatment Center of Excellence or Recognized Treatment Center, awardees will receive up to $900,000, spread out over three years. All payments are milestone-based. To evolve an existing clinic to an ALS Certified Treatment Center of Excellence or Recognized Treatment Center, awardees will receive up to $450,000, spread out over three years. All payments are milestone-based.

The Hoffman ALS Clinic Capacity Awards Program
Description: The purpose of this program is to increase access to and utilization of multidisciplinary care by supporting the addition of ALS-specific clinic days or developing/increasing access to telehealth services or other remote clinic approaches.
Funding: $360,000 over three years. All payments are milestone-based.
