Through donation of used and purchase of new durable medical equipment (DME), we can provide people living with ALS many of the items they need for everyday living on loan. We carry items such as gait belts, transfer boards, rolling walkers, transport wheelchairs, manual wheelchairs, power wheelchairs, electric patient lifts, and full electric hospital beds. We also maintain various augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) options such voice amplifiers, boogie boards, and speech generating devices. We have “loan closets” in Albany, Buffalo, Rochester, and Syracuse.
