The ALS Association offers comprehensive support and resources for persons diagnosed with ALS, their families and caregivers. Amongst these programs are the Quality of Life Grants and Transportation Grants. Grants can help provide people living with ALS and their families the much-needed equipment and services to improve daily life.  Applications are open on a quarterly basis, but awards aren’t guaranteed quarterly. 

Quality of Life Grants are available for the following:

• Respite Care 
• Medical Expenses
• Home Modifications
• Vehicle Modifications
• Van Purchase Assistance

The Financial Assistance Program is funded through The Maureen Slattery Miller Fund, which aims to help families affected by ALS cope with the devastating financial repercussions of the disease.
