We are thrilled to be having our 2022 Worcester Walk to Defeat ALS at Worcester's brand new Polar Park, home of the Worcester Red Sox (WooSox), on Sunday, September 18, 2022!
Once we kick off the event with our opening ceremonies, walk or roll our 1-mile course right on the baseball field. We'll have coffee and breakfast offerings to get you started that morning.
We can’t wait to welcome special guest Smiley, the Woo Sox’s iconic mascot, stopping by to encourage all of us on our walk. Be sure to flag Smiley down for a photo with your team!
Camp HLC is typically a three-day, overnight retreat for children and young adults, ages 6-21, who have or have had a loved one battling ALS. Families are invited as well. It is an opportunity to have fun, be challenged through team building exercises, and meet peers who are going through a similar experience.
Camp HLC is provided free for our ALS families by Hope Loves Company and our sponsors. All meals and activities are included.
"Preparing for a Hurricane – for ALS Family Caregivers" is the second "Caring for the Caregiver" webinar of our 2022 series!*
Join us on Thursday, May 26, 2022 from 2:00-3:30 PM ET for this discussion.
Steven Lerner, FPEM, CEM, NEMEA, senior planner for the Seminole County Office of Emergency Management, will be discussing hurricane preparedness for families affected by ALS in Florida and answering questions.
*The "Caring for the Caregiver" Webinar Series is sponsored by Mitsubishi Tanabe Pharma America.
