Collins Equipment Fund
The Collins Equipment Fund was established in 2021 to help reduce waiting lists by underwriting the purchase/repair of essential equipment for The ALS Association's Equipment Loan Program.
John Collins is a Florida Board Member who is living with ALS. He understands the correlation between independence and mobility.
The Association's Equipment Loan Program offers temporary loaner equipment to people in the state who are battling ALS. Some are uninsured or underinsured. Others are waiting for insurance approvals.
The Collins Equipment Fund was established to eliminate the waiting lists for high-demand equipment and ensure families can have access to critical equipment faster.
