Patricia began practicing law in San Francisco in 1976. She began her career as a litigator in a large San Francisco firm. She then became the first woman partner in a medium-sized San Francisco firm, again specializing in commercial litigation. When her husband’s job moved them to Southern California, she took a break from her litigation practice and instead began conducting arbitrations involving security dealers and consumer complaints. She resumed a more active legal career in 2006 when she accepted a position in house with a medical malpractice insurance provider.

Patricia retired in March of 2017. Since then she has been able to spend time with her grandchildren.
