Doug Butcher is an Executive Vice President of Industrial Properties at CBRE where he joined in 2001. He spends his time developing and maintaining new and existing accounts, focusing on Industrial Real Estate Properties primarily in Kentucky and Southern Indiana.

Doug has represented landlords such as ProLogis, Link Logistics and Ares, and tenants such as General Electric, DHL, Ford and Penske. He is on the Advisory Committee of the CBRE Manufacturing and Special Properties Group, is a member of the CBRE Global Supply Chain Collective Group and participates in the CBRE Mentorship Program. Doug was elected by the Kentucky Commercial Real Estate Alliance as Kentucky’s Industrial Real Estate Broker of the Year in 2016, 2017 and 2019 and a CoStar Power Broker in 2013, 2017, 2018 and 2021.

Doug has been a member of the National Safe Place Network Board of Directors since 2020 and was the Co-Chair of the 2023 40th Anniversary Celebration for National Safe Place. He is currently a member of the YMCA of Louisville Board of Directors and was a member of The ALS Association Board of Trustees from 2010-2020. Doug volunteered on the ALS Kentucky Board of Directors from 2008-2016 and was also a member of the Board of Directors of the local March of Dimes chapter from 2005-2010, where he participated on their Commercial Real Estate Achievements Committee.

Doug is a member of the Leadership Kentucky Foundation (2009) and the Leadership Louisville Foundation (2013) and was a Louisville Business First 40 Under 40 honoree in 2007.
