Katie joined the Chapter’s Board of Directors in January 2021. Currently a Lead Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton, she has a decade of experience leading strategic communications and health behavior change work for clients in the Departments of Defense and Veterans Affairs.

As a senior at Boston College, Katie first witnessed the devastation of ALS when her friend Julie’s then boyfriend, later husband Pete was diagnosed with ALS at only 27. She is a ferocious advocate for families living with ALS, especially caregivers. She is a passionate supporter of the Chapter: organizing corporate fundraisers (golf tournaments, voice banking drives, and Ice Bucket Challenge videos featuring Booz Allen offices around the globe) serving as the Booz Allen Walk to Defeat team captain, and an eight-time Dine to Defeat committee member.
