Forest Bathing with The ALS Association and Motz Studios

The ALS Association is partnering with Motz Studios to bring you a FREE two-hour Forest Bathing session at Springbrook Nature Center on October 6th from 10:30am-12:30pm. You can choose to stick around for an hour or so afterwards for a social snack picnic.

We will embark on a 2-hour immersive, meditative, and therapeutic forest walk based on the Japanese practice of Shinrin Yoku. We will slow down and connect with our senses to the healing, stress-reducing beauty of a little-known hidden corner of the Twin Cities. We will slip away from our phones and revive our relationship with the forest and ourselves via unique invitations. We will share what we notice, incorporating our experiences into our memory to tap again when we may need them. We will re-enter the tame world, renewed and refreshed.

This event is for those living with ALS and one guest (friend/family member/caregiver) to participate.

Please reserve a spot for each person who will attend.

Space is limited, so be sure to reserve your spots early, and please fill out the survey for each person attending so we can plan accordingly.
