Dr. Verma is a neurologist specializing in ALS at the Certified Treatment Center of Excellence at the University of Miami.

He started studying medicine in Jaipur, India and neurology in New Delhi. When achieving higher education in the states, Dr. Verma completed his residency at the University of Miami where he then went on to receive his MBA. He has received his Board certification from three American Boards, including Neurology, Electrodiagnostic Medicine, and Neuromuscular Medicine. Dr. Ashok Verma has been published in several medical books, editorials, and journals. He’s also taught several courses at the University of Miami as well as other education institutions.

His passion for people living with ALS goes above his work at the multidisciplinary clinic; as he has joined the Board of Directors at The ALS Association Florida Chapter to help determine best practices in ALS care, research, advocacy and more.
