Steve Greer is an active ALS chapter board member and person living with ALS. He joined the board of directors of The ALS Association DC/MD/VA Chapter in March 2021 to help those battling ALS fight today for their tomorrow. In addition, Steve serves on The ALS Association Congressional Advocacy Committee, and as a pharmaceutical patient board advisor. In 2021, Steve had a vision of bringing a Ride to Defeat ALS® event to the area. Through the dedication of his Ride to Defeat ALS ® committee and many other local supporters, he launched the inaugural Blue Ridge Ride to Defeat ALS ® in May 2022 in Charlottesville, VA. As an ALS gladiator, he recently celebrated his fifth anniversary in the fight against ALS and continues to live in the moment.
