Newly diagnosed with ALS. Have been sick on and off about 2 years, but no doctor knew what it was. Swallowing problems and speaking problems were noted.
From Basic Training at Lackland, then on to Shepard AFB for teletype training, then to HQ USAFE in Wiesbaden, Germany, then transferred to Volkel RNAFB, Netherlands.
