Equipment Loan Program
The ALS Association in Wisconsin maintains an inventory of gently used medical equipment that’s been generously donated to us at three Wisconsin sites: Milwaukee, Appleton, and Eau Claire. These items are available at no charge to any ALS patients who are registered with us. A recommendation by an MD or Physical/Occupational Therapist is encouraged prior to the loan of equipment. If coverage is available for the item(s), we will provide help obtaining the item through insurance.
Although the inventory frequently changes, below is a list of items that are generally available through the local Equipment Loan Program. Inventory may vary between sites. If a piece of equipment is not available at one site, we will try to obtain it from another site. For more information, or if you need a specific item not on this list, please contact Tim Kiley, Equipment Program Coordinator, at 414.441.7932 or [email protected]
