The first thing you should know is that the money we raise in our Chapter stays right here to help people living with ALS and their families in Wisconsin. (The only exception being the dollars that are directed toward national and global ALS research efforts, which you can choose to designate.) Receiving no government assistance for our programs, and no operational endowments, our Chapter is funded entirely through donations and fundraising events. Which means we rely on the generous donations of people like you to enable us to provide our services free of charge to ALS patients and their families.

Brian Trinastic Memorial Grant Program
The financial cost to families of persons living with ALS is exceedingly high. In the advanced stages of ALS, the cost of care can average $200,000 a year. That’s why your donation can make such a difference—and why we offer so many different ways for you to become involved with the ALS Association. However you choose to help, we thank you wholeheartedly for your support and interest in enhancing the quality of life for your Wisconsin neighbors and families living with ALS.
