Our mission is powerful: To discover treatments and a cure for ALS, and to serve, advocate for, and empower people affected by ALS to live their lives to the fullest.
We will not rest until a cure is found.
We have a number of important programs and services available to help people living with ALS and their families cope with the day-to-day challenges that confront them. We offer home visits, consultations, equipment loans, handicapped transportation, handicapped ramp assistance, respite care, educational symposium, support groups and multidisciplinary care.
The ALS Association Rhode Island Chapter works diligently to make sure people living with ALS receive the best possible care and support. But we can't do it alone. Through your support, we are one step closer to finding a cause and cure for this disease while providing the necessary services to those living with and fighting ALS.
