24th Annual Evening of Hope

For 24 years the “Evening of Hope” has had a profound influence on the growth and development of the Rhode Island Chapter by establishing and supporting local patient care programs and services. It has strengthened our advocacy efforts in both Rhode Island and Washington, DC and enhanced the ability of our national association to fund significant ALS research. The chapter has been hard hit by the Covid crisis, but ALS does not stop, so neither can we. Your support will provide hope and fund local care service programs to ALS patients and their families.
2021 Rhode Island Chapter Evening of Hope Honorees:
The "Brian Dickinson Courage Award" ~ Robin Ramos
The "Brian Dickinson Courage Award" is presented to individuals who demonstrate tremendous faith and courage and serve as a symbol of hope for others affected by ALS.
The "Spirit of Lou Gehrig Award" ~ The Christopher Stone Fund
The "Spirit of Lou Gehrig Award" recognizes individuals who have demonstrated great compassion to advancing the ALS cause.
The "ALS Champion" Award ~ Senator Sheldon Whitehouse
The "ALS Champion" award recognizes individuals who have demonstrated dedication and passion towards helping the chapter achieve it's mission: to discover treatments and a cure for ALS, and to serve, advocate for, and empower people affected by ALS to live their lives to the fullest.
The Online Auction opens on May 6. The auction will feature exciting items such as getaway packages, sports memorabilia, local experiences, restaurant date nights, wine tastings, and more! The auction will be open until 8 p.m. on May 20th.
