William is now 65 years old and bedridden. His ALS (diagnosed in 2005) has progressed to where he cannot do for himself from the neck down. His mind is still sharp and he fights everyday to stay alive. He is our hero. He was so active and to see him everyday like he is, is such a heartache, but for him to not want to give-up is the prize. He is a tower of strengh. He served on the USSFDR. He did 3 tours of duty in Viet Nam. He has medals he does not take credit for. He says to survive and come home is the ultimate medal. His children and I are so proud and love him so much. God Bless.
