My father was diagnosed with also in 2009 after many medical tests and other surgeries doctors thought he needed such as carpal tunnel etc.( The doc thought these were his ailments before als diagnosis) little did we know the man who was our rock ,mentor,teacher,comedian, glue that keeps the family together would leave us to soon at 65 in 2011. Every day I think of him and many times I have needed his encouraging words of wisdom but he is gone and no longer suffering. I have never known such a perfect man . All I have left to say is why my dad???
