Bob Price began his basic training at Parks Air Force Base in Pleasanton, CA. Upon completion he was stationed at Francis C. Warren AFB in Cheyenne, WY where he completed clerical training.
In 1955 he was sent to Okinawa at Naha AFB. He served 18 months overseas before returning to George AFB in Victorville, CA. where he completed his four years of service. In 2007, the first symptoms of ALS appeared. Twenty-two months later he was diagnosed. Bob and his wife Diane are very grateful for all the wonderful help received from the VA & ALS Assoc. Without their help, life would be unbearable.
