Max R. Harrison fought in Desert Storm and after returning home never believed he would have another war to fight. In April of 2002, he was given the diagnosis of ALS. No one knew the battle he was about to face. He spent the following 4 1/2 years raising Awareness of ALS. He spearheaded fundraisers, attended ALS Advocacy Day in D.C. and coordinated the 1st ever Walk to Defeat ALS in Springfield, IL. He wanted no pity and never wanted to be in any spotlight. By knowing Max, he made each person he came across a better person. He lost his battle with ALS on 11/8/06-Always Remembered!
