A Man of Great Courage, my Father, Kim Johnson served our country in The United States Air Force during The Vietnam War. He was diagnosed with ALS June 30th of 1995 and lived courageously with the disease for nearly 10 years!!! Fond memories are never far away as we remember his benevolent spirit, undeniable charm, quick wit and wonderful sense of humor. He had the most positive attitude of anyone I know...he was often overheard telling friends and family, as he struggled through the day-to-day of living with a ravaging disease such as ALS, "I may have down moments, but never a down day."
