Joseph James Hanley III served in the US Air Force from 1976-1980 in San Antonio, Texas at the Lackland Air Force Base in medical services. He continued to be in service professions even after his military time as he loved caring for others. He was diagnosed with ALS in 2000 and spent the last six years of his life on life support in Lincoln, Nebraska before finding peace in 2008. He is survived by his only child and his loving mother. He was an incredibly loving man with an exception sense of humor. May his memory always live on.
