James served his country proudly during WWII and Korea. He went on to become a PA State Trooper. The rest of his years were with the Department of Transportation. He was a devoted husband and father to 3 children and loving grandfather to 3 grandchildren. In 2006 he showed early symptoms, a drop foot that continually got worse. After a hospital stay in April 2009, a neurologist diagnosed him with ALS. May 2009 he passed away. He was a true hero in serving God, country and his family.
