My husband, James Bryant, was a Vietnam Veteran. He was diagnosed with ALS in December 2013. He passed away in February 2014. ALS affected his legs and his breathing. He still had use of his arms and hands. He used a wheelchair. It affected his breathing. He just could not breathe. He just struggled to breathe. He needed the bi-pap machine constantly.
I hope a treatment and cure can be found for this horrible disease.
