Born at home on Cimmaron Street in Drumright, Oklahoma on June 1, 1943. Moved to Tulsa and attended Kendall and Franklin Elementary, Wilson Junior and Will Rogers High School, graduating in 1961. Avid interest in electronics and ham radio placed me in the U.S. Navy as a submarine radiometer in 1962. Served aboard diesel, nuclear fast attack and fleet ballistic missile submarine during my 20 year career. Achieved the rank of Senior Chief Radiometer (submarine qualified). Retired from the US Department of Justice with 37 years government service.
