Branch: Air Force
Served: 1974 - 1994

Enjoyed my career in the US Air Force. Spent time Fairchild AFB in Spokane, WA, Then Eielson AFB, Alaska, then the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, then finishing up back at Eielson AFB. Until 5 months ago I could walk anywhere, carry anything, seemly relative good health at 64. My journey with ALS started in August 2018 when my gait wasn’t right. Tried everything, including physical Theropy. Went to Madagan Hospital where after several days of testing, the neurologist informs me I have ALS. I am now at the stage of needing a wheel chair. Life goes on, at least for a while. Go Air Force!
