COVID-19 Vaccine Update for the ALS Community
The ALS Association hosted an informational COVID-19 vaccine webinar for the ALS community, with panelists Dr. Lou Libby, Dr. Richard Bedlack, Dr. Cherise Rohr-Allegrini, Dr. Urvi Desai and Dr. Marinella Galea, moderated by ALS Association Board of Trustees member Dr. Ken Menkhaus. The webinar addressed vaccine distribution and infection control issues that are specific to the concerns and interests of the ALS community.
COVID-19 Vaccines Update: FDA and CDC Leaders Address the Rare Disease Community
The National Organization for Rare Disorders (NORD), along with The ALS Association, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and Muscular Dystrophy Association, is hosted a special webinar recently with leaders from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) to discuss the COVID-19 vaccines with the rare disease community.
