Brittany Harvey

Brittany Harvey Headshot

Brittany Harvey began her journey within the ALS community as a research coordinator at the University of South Florida's multidisciplinary ALS clinic. She coordinated several clinical trials and worked closely with people living with ALS and their families. Now working at a global biopharma company, Brittany applies her clinical research knowledge and patient experience towards advancing research in neurological disease, including ALS.  She received certification from the Association of Clinical Research Professionals in both clinical research coordination (2015) and project management (2019).

Brittany has been involved in the Greater Tampa Bay Walk to Defeat ALS since 2011 and has led her team members in awareness efforts and the fight against this disease. She has participated in the National ALS Advocacy conference to advocate for those living with ALS for the last three years, traveling to Washington, D.C. twice and participating in 2020's virtual event.

Currently, she serves on the Greater Tampa Bay Walk committee, helping implement event ideas to improve awareness and raise funds to carry out our mission to discover treatments and a cure for ALS, and to serve, advocate for, and empower people affected by ALS to live their lives to the fullest.

Brittany loves to travel and enjoys scuba diving, hiking, and exploring the great outdoors with her faithful canine companions, Moose and Maverick.
