On March 5, The ALS Association launched a weekly podcast, Connecting ALS, that will shine a national spotlight on the people, research, and policy issues central to the fight against ALS.

Host Mike Stephenson, director of marketing and communications for The ALS Association MN/ND/SD Chapter, will be joined by co-host Jeremy Holden, communications director for The ALS Association, to discuss the latest in ALS research and technology developments, share updates and highlights of the Association’s advocacy efforts, and share personal stories that will resonate across the nationwide ALS community and beyond. Connecting ALS began in 2019 as a monthly podcast hosted by Stephenson and produced by Garrett Tiedemann for the MN/ND/SD chapter.

“We have long been fans of Mike and Garrett’s podcast and are thrilled to be collaborating with them to bring Connecting ALS to a national audience,” said Morgan Roth, Vice President of Communications for The ALS Association. “There are so many important topics that warrant the kind of extended discussion a podcast provides. We hope the community finds great value in the podcast and contributes to the ongoing conversation.”

I’m the President of the Mountain States Chapter of Paralyzed Veterans of America. Vets with MS can join PVA - no cost - and we offer a lot of assistance for our members. I don’t have ALS - I have MS - and we are trying to find info and resources for our members- we’ve got about 50 members with ALS. Also, please let veterans know that our Service Officers specialize in developing claims for Vets with ALS with the VA.
