Kim Maginnis

Kim Maginnis

Kim joined the ALS Association in 2012, bringing more than four decades of healthcare experience. She understands the responsibilities of helping people who are facing extremely difficult medical and psychological situations.

She has held positions at the Veterans Administration Medical Center (Boston) and the VA Central Office in DC and has HMO experience through her work with Harvard Community Health Plan, a staff model HMO. Prior to joining The ALS Association, Kim worked at Inova Health System as the senior director of Corporate Health Services, Urgent Care Centers, and Employee Occupational Health.

She holds a B.S. in Hospital and Health Services Administration, Ithaca College, and an M.B.A. in Business Administration/Finance from American University. She also has advanced certificates in Human Resource Management from George Mason University and Project Management through Georgetown University.
